The great flavor of Candied Pecans was discovered while trying to enhance my ambrosia salad recipe. My ambrosia was requested at all potlucks. While it was a cheap and delicious alternative for me, as opposed to the ones bringing the main dish, it was time consuming cutting up all that fruit and baking the pecans. But before I hung my ambrosia apron up, I decided to spruce up the recipe with not just pecans, but candied pecans. And IT WAS A HIT!! The yummy goodness of my ambrosia was set aside as everyone started asking about the nut that was in my ambrosia. That would be the last time ambrosia was requested at a potluck. From there, they became a hit and they don't last long at any event. As my Husband began to encourage me to move forward with this idea of selling them at the local farmer's market, I began to see the very answer to the question, that once had many answers that once stunted my growth. All while working on an In-Home Child Development Care Center, Just Pecans by Monique was born.
